Once upon a time..

..there was a place called Jakes's.

Actually Jakes is just the latest incarnation of the place that shows up time and again (online and everywhere). This is a place we gather to share a bit of who we are.. to be funnier than we are.. to laugh (if sometimes only "LOL" or "ROFL") to dance funny, to flirt.

At Jake's I hosted, took photos, flirted, fucked, blogged, and had fun.

With the closure of Jake's on Second Life one more "home away from home" closes. And soon.. I'm sure.. another one will take it's place.

Because we all need that fairytale to continue.

Help us send Jake's off in style. Join us wearing your finest in red and black. Your friends here at Jake's will miss you but we want to see your face one final time here in the club.

A minimum of $L1,000 will be on the board for best in red and black

Thanks to all of you that have supported this labor of love for more than two and a half years. We appreciate the love and friendship you’ve given to us (the Jake’s family), and your fellow club goers. We will take away some really great memories and friendships, and we hope you will to.

Our goal was and is to provide a welcoming environment where you our guests could express yourself and enjoy the company of great people. With the closing of the club we hope the Jake’s spirit will live on.

Please continue to celebrate, and love each other, and remember fondly that when you were at Jake’s you were at home.
